about works art fair

Works Art Fair is an ambitious international art fair in Aarhus, that gives talented artists and galleries the opportunity to exhibit and sell directly to quality conscious private individuals, art associations and companies. The mission is to create an annual recurring event that puts Aarhus on the map with a high quality art fair.

The fair takes place in Ridehuset, located in the heart of Aarhus. It has a raw and industrial feel which complements the art. The exhibition walls are divided so many stands are partly open on several sides. It gives a gallery feeling when you move around and visitors are inspired to explore the stands and art in a relaxed atmosphere.

A GRAPHIC DESIGNER AS ORGANIZER

As a former performing artist, initiator and organizer Torben Buus has himself experienced exhibiting at various fairs. He believes there is a lack of a trade fair that makes a little extra out of the visual packaging. And as a graphic designer with his own agency, it is very important to Torben that the fair's own visual communication can match the high artistic quality of the exhibitors. Works Art Fair must present a high international level in both content and form.
