DAINA DAUKSIENE

Daina Dauksiene er en litauisk kunstner med rødder i Kaunas, Litauen. Hun er uddannet fra Vilnius Kunstakademi i 1993 med fokus på keramik og porcelæn og har siden opbygget en praksis som både kunstner og underviser inden for disse fagområder. Gennem mange år har hun deltaget i nationale og internationale udstillinger og kunstsymposier og er medlem af Litauisk Kunstnerforbund. Hendes kunst bevæger sig mellem det konceptuelle og det figurative og omfatter alt fra skulpturelle former til fine porcelænsarbejder og relieffer, præsenteret i både Danmark og udlandet.

Daina Dauksiene is a Lithuanian artist rooted in Kaunas, Lithuania. She graduated from the Vilnius Academy of Arts in 1993, specialising in ceramics and porcelain, and has since developed a practice as both an artist and an educator within these fields. Over the years, she has taken part in numerous national and international exhibitions and art symposia and is a member of the Lithuanian Artists’ Association. Her work moves between the conceptual and the figurative, ranging from sculptural forms to delicate porcelain pieces and reliefs, presented in both Denmark and abroad.
